Company History

Paul Davis established Deluxe Packaging in 1982. Family-owned and operated to this day, the company has grown while keeping our core value: The customer comes first. Deluxe Packaging initially functioned out of Davis’ basement in Cherry Hill, NJ, before moving to our first office location in Camden, NJ.

Ken Hoffman married Davis’ daughter and began at Deluxe Packaging as the first employee. Hoffman is now our current CEO. He has handled various roles, including sales and sourcing new vendors, as we’ve expanded our reach nationwide and occasionally worldwide. Outside of work, I enjoy family time, golf, and relaxing.

Deluxe Packaging outgrew the location in Camden, moving to our first warehouse location in Pennsauken, NJ.

Deluxe Packaging moved again to a larger warehouse at 1079 Thomas Busch Memorial Highway, Pennsauken, NJ—our current location. Michael Butler, a long-time family friend, was hired as the company’s second full-time salesperson. With 17 years of experience in the packaging industry, Butler brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field.

We began offering contract packaging services and hired new management to oversee growing business needs. We welcomed Margie Colon, Director of Fulfillment and Manager, to our team. Colon brings a wealth of knowledge and a robust skill set for management, marketing, and strategic planning.

Marking 40 years of success since our founding, Deluxe Packaging celebrated our anniversary on May 1st and looks forward to many more years of serving your packaging needs.
